Alias

Alias: managed conversational AI guides, in 150+ languages

Alias is operated by Alias Virtual Technologies Pte Ltd, UEN 202428802H, a company incorporated in Singapore. It builds managed conversational AI guides from the material a business already has, answering visitor and staff questions in over 150 languages, deployed on the client's own site or shared as a single link.

Its tagline is "Answer everyone, before they have to look." Alias was selected for Google's AI First Accelerator.

The wait is what costs you

Customers, guests and your own team get what they need in seconds, from material you already own.

Website visitors

Visitors get their answer in seconds, not in two days.

Today, two days later: nobody scrolls a thirty-line FAQ. They fill in a form and wait for an email they may not open, and you never hear from them again. With Alias, three seconds later: they ask in their own language and get the answer from your material.

Support inbox

Repeat questions stop reaching your inbox at all.

Today: your team is a search engine, typing the same answer for the ninth time as the queue keeps growing. With Alias: it never reaches your inbox. Only genuinely new questions, or ones that need a human, get through.

Sales and services

Prospects get answered the moment they ask, even overnight.

Today, two days later: the deal cooled before you opened it, and the prospect looks at a competitor instead. With Alias, three seconds later: a potential lead asks everything they need from Alias before being handed over to sales.

Team onboarding

New starters find the current procedure without interrupting anyone.

Today: the procedure is in a manual nobody's opened this year, so a new starter interrupts a colleague and two people lose the afternoon. With Alias: they ask the guide and get the current procedure, step by step, with your own images and video.

Events and venues

Guests get directions from their phone instead of the front desk.

Today, ten minutes later: a guest doesn't know where to go, so they queue at the desk or radio a manager, and one question became three people's problem. With Alias, three seconds later: a guest scans a QR code and asks from their phone: gate, time, maps, schedule, nothing to download.

International customers

Every customer is answered in their own language.

Today, two days later: they translate the page badly, guess at the detail that matters, email in English they're unsure of, and buy somewhere closer to home. With Alias, three seconds later: they ask in their own language and get your material back in it, even the parts of your site never translated.

Product guidance

Customers get more from what they bought, so they renew.

Today, a day later: they dig through the help centre, open a ticket, wait, and give up on the feature they paid for. With Alias, three seconds later: they ask where they're stuck and get the exact step: screenshots, doc links, or a video right inside the chat.

Branded, media-rich and integrated

Every guide is white-labelled to the client's brand, with media-rich replies and third-party integrations behind it.

Bring your guide to life

The same guide, with a face. Premium 2D and 3D avatars that react to what they are saying, so a fast answer also feels like a warm one.

Managed end to end and ongoing

  1. We take your existing material. Website, documents, manuals, even CRM or databases.
  2. We build and test the guide. Usually a few days.
  3. We deploy it. Added to the existing website, or shared as a single link.
  4. We run it. Human contact, tech support and a live dashboard. The client manages nothing.

Less is more: data and privacy

Anonymity and privacy by default. Alias never asks for personal data it doesn't need, and never shares anything without asking first.

By default: no sign-in or account required, no personal data required to get an answer, no trackers or ad identifiers, no transcripts stored permanently, and conversations are never used to train AI models.

Find out what everyone is asking

Every anonymous conversation is a question someone thought was worth asking. A client's dashboard turns them into topics, languages, sentiment and the gaps in their material — overview, conversations, topics and intent, languages, sentiment, and unanswered questions, exportable as CSV or PDF.

Common questions

What is Alias?

A conversational AI guide built from your own website, documents and manuals, so people can ask a question instead of hunting for the answer. Alias builds it, deploys it and runs it.

How is this different from a chatbot?

A chatbot follows a script with fixed buttons. An Alias guide understands the actual question and answers from your real content, in any language, with no decision tree behind it.

What do you need from us?

Whatever you already have. Your website, FAQs, operations manuals, policy documents. You don't rewrite anything into a knowledge base first.

How long until it's live?

Usually days. Alias builds it, tests it, then deploys it as a widget on your existing site or as a single shareable link. No engineering work on your side.

Do visitors need an app or a login?

No. Alias guides are anonymous by default. No account, no download, no email address before someone gets an answer.

What languages does it answer in?

Over 150, whichever one the visitor types in. You maintain one set of content, not a version per language.

What happens when it doesn't know?

It says so rather than guessing, and points the person to you. You see every unanswered question, which tells you what your material is missing.

Is this an alternative to Chatbase or Intercom?

Yes, for businesses that would rather not run the thing themselves. Those are self-serve tools you build and maintain. Alias is the managed version of the same idea.

Do we have to manage it?

No. Alias builds it, monitors it, keeps it current and reports on it. You get the outcome without taking on another tool.

What happens to the conversations?

Logs are anonymous and kept three months by default, then deleted. They are never used to train foundation models, and you can ask Alias to delete them sooner.
